Dr. Renardi Gunawan possesses strong expertise in molecular biotechnologies, point-of-care testing (POCT), assay development and translational research, in particular, he has experience in advancing and translating a POCT diagnostic assay from laboratory to a commercial product for field-deployable rapid molecular testing. He has developed several assays for human and animal diseases detection, and has hands-on product development experience in collaborating with industry partners to turn laboratory POCT prototype to mass commercial production.

 

Dr. Gunawan has been a Postdoctoral fellow at and holds a Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences from the City University of Hong Kong.
